Bron Tapes worked with a contractor and architect for over a year with a $2 million budget. At the completion of the design development drawings, the contractor gave a proposal of $4 million for the construction. We were contacted and challenged with finding a way to build for as close to budget as possible. After a constructability review and serveral value engineering sessions with subcontractors, we presented a conceptual design that would cost $2.8 million and not sacrifice space.

The project was completed in seven months and the final cost was within budget. The owner had spent three years in an archtiecture program and was very artistic and fun. We developed many circular symbols within the building designs, such as round pipe cuts within stair rails systems. Our firm has served as the Bron Tapes construction management company since 2002.
